The tail is the contact part between the electrode and the grip rod or directly with the electrode arm. Ensure smooth transfer of welding current and electrode pressure. The contact resistance of the contact surface should be small and sealed without leakage.

When welding, as long as the electrode is repaired regularly, it can effectively avoid the increase of contact and prevent the reduction of solder joint strength. After the welding is completed, turn the nut in the opposite direction, then the reset spring will lift the pressure rod and the electrode fixed on the pressure rod, and then take the workpiece after welding.
