Solution for Overheating of Mid-frequency Spot Welding Machine Body

Mid-frequency spot welding machines are suitable for mass production, but during use, overheating may occur, which is a common problem with welding machines. Here, Suzhou Agera will explain how to deal with overheating.

IF inverter spot welder

Check if the insulation resistance between the electrode seat of the spot welding machine and the body of the machine is normal and if there is any short circuit.

Check if the water pressure, flow rate, and temperature of the cooling system are appropriate. Also, inspect if there are any blockages in the water cooling system.

Inspect if there is severe oxidation on the contact surface between the copper flexible joint and the electrode arm, electrode rod, and electrode head.

Check if the electrode head section has been excessively worn due to wear and if the welding thickness and load connection rate have exceeded the limit, causing the welding machine to overload and heat up.

These are the solutions for the overheating phenomenon of mid-frequency spot welding machines provided by our manufacturer. We hope this information is helpful to you.
