When operating a medium frequency spot welding machine, it’s important to pay attention to several things. When the machine is not in use for a long time, it should be stored in a dry and well-ventilated room to prevent moisture buildup. Prolonged storage in a humid environment can lead to short circuits, posing a safety hazard. Therefore, it’s advisable to inspect the equipment before use to ensure everything is in working order.
Regularly drain the cooling water to prevent blockages. Cooling water is essential to prevent the transformer and thyristor from being affected by high temperatures, which could disrupt the welding current or cause damage. Cooling the electrodes prevents them from softening due to high temperatures, thereby improving welding efficiency. When removing welding slag, operators should wear protective goggles and avoid the direction of splashing slag.
